Sourced from 2 growers in Heathcote and Harcourt. 66% of fruit from Heathcote’s ancient Cambrian soils and the rest from the emerging (under-appreciated) region of Harcourt. Around 70% whole bunches, with maturation in mostly large, neutral Stockinger casks for the first year, then stainless steel for the remainder of the élevage. Bottled in December 2023. The resulting wine speaks like an atypical ‘Australian Shiraz,’ more akin to a Northern Rhône counterpart. 9,930 bottles and 60 magnums produced.
