What: 100% Chenin Blanc

Located on the northern side of Vouvray, on deep red clay with vines around 40 years old. It is a memory of a rainy harvest, and this smell is particularly evident in this type of soil.

Description

Brothers Guillaume and Baptiste Frey have set out on an incredible mission to highlight the individuality and nuances of Chenin Blanc from a variety of soil types, within Vouvray. With soils ranging from various clays to flint & limestone, the brothers work in a minimal interventionist way to protect the purity of the resulting wines. This new and dynamic project only commenced in 2021, yet is already gaining attention within the Loire and amongst restaurants across France.
