In 2022, the vast majority of the Pinot Noir from the estate did best as part of a blend for Between Two Mountains—but one small exceptional cuvée, noted for its perfume, precision and finesse, demanded separate bottling. This wine comes from 2 small north- and east-facing plots overlooking the surrounding forest (hence the name). It also spent 18 months in Stockinger casks, 50% new, and was bottled at the end of January 2024. Only 747 bottles produced.
