What: 100% Chenin Blanc

Located on the northern side of Vouvray, on deep red clay with vines around 40 years old. Historically known as “Parruches”, this plot is now called “Petrichor”, in reference to the smell of nature after a rain. It is a memory of a rainy harvest, and this smell is particularly evident in this type of soil.

⁠From the southern end of the town, from a parcel less than 1 hectare. Very little topsoil, with the vines almost directly into the tuffeau mother-rock. Vines up to 100 years old. Fermentation in barrel, and aged there for 1 year.
